May Pang is back!!
We are pleased to announce the return of May Pang and her photography exhibition, presenting a compelling collection of intimate and historically significant photographs.
Best known for her close personal and creative association with John Lennon during his mid-1970s “Lost Weekend” period, May Pang offers a rare, insider’s perspective on a pivotal chapter in modern cultural history. During this time, Pang was a central figure in Lennon’s life and creative world, giving her unparalleled access to moments both public and deeply personal.

The “Lost Weekend” refers to the approximately 18-month period between 1973 and 1975 when John Lennon was separated from Yoko Ono. Despite its misleading name, this era proved to be one of significant artistic output and personal transformation, including the creation of acclaimed albums, high-profile collaborations, and renewed public visibility. Pang played a vital role during this time, supporting Lennon both personally and professionally while documenting the everyday moments that unfolded alongside these historic events. Her photographs capture candid, unguarded scenes that move beyond celebrity, revealing authenticity, spontaneity, and the human connections behind iconic figures. The images document daily life, artistic collaboration, and the atmosphere surrounding one of the most talked-about eras in music history.
This exhibition showcases Pang’s distinct photographic voice — one grounded in trust, proximity, and lived experience — offering viewers a nuanced visual narrative of the Lost Weekend and its lasting cultural impact.
Gallery725 is honored to present this body of work and invites the public to experience photography that is both visually compelling and historically meaningful.
