Powell Art Universe Debut’s New Art Show in Jacksonville!
World-renowned artists, Madeline and Peter Powell, will be introducing their latest collection of hyper-realistic works of art in Jacksonville on June 24th and 25th!
The show, entitled “How Many Licks?” is an homage to the Tootsie Pop and embodies the Powells’ theme of American nostalgia.
For 40 years, Peter and Madeline Powell have been painting together as a married couple, and their unique style of both painting on each work of art has garnered them worldwide recognition. Their artwork has been admired and collected around the globe, captivating audiences with their hyper- realistic depictions of the world around us.
The show will feature dozens of new original, mixed-media and giclées of the Powells’ art. Several new pieces will debut for the first time anywhere, including a Designer Collection and a new series of Movie Snack-themed works that can be selected like those of a movie theater snack bar.
The Powells themselves will be live from their studio on Maui, providing exclusive access to their creative process, where people can watch them paint, ask questions, and learn more about their history and work. Collectors can even make specific requests for the Powells to customize their artwork.
